This porous clay, readily absorbs water. It is a common ingredient in cosmetics, for example, foundations, facial masks. I have also seen it listed in recipes for a man’s shaving cream, as well as an ingredient in body scrubs.
Unfortunately, for the end user it can scratch your skin, clog your pores and unmercifully leech moisture right out of your skin.
