Suspected Endocrine Toxicant, Gastrointestinal or Liver Toxicant, Immunotoxicant, Neurotoxicant, Respiratory Toxicant, Skin or Sense Organ Toxicant.
Potential for consumer exposure to BHA by ingestion or dermal [in layman’s terms girls that means lipstick or eyeshadow] is widespread.
You could be exposed to BHA in butter, lard, potato chips, meats, cereals, baked goods, sweets, beer, vegetable oils, snack foods, glazed fruits, chewing gum etc…
It is also used as a stabiliser for Vitamin A.
