Battling the flu virus
in the early morning of September 21st, 2007I hate getting the flu and since arriving in the UK, I’ve been down with it three times, including this episode.
The kids come home from school, sneezing, coughing and spluttering and invariably I get sick. Need to find a way to fumigate these kids the minute they walk in the door lol.
Since contracting the flu on Monday, my postings have been a bit erratic, sorry.
I had to laugh, my sister emailed me that she was sick with the flu as well. We’re 10,500 miles apart. I’ll call her tomorrow and we can commiserate together.
As for a natural remedy, hmmm I wish I knew of a fast one but apart from drinking green tea and plenty of juice and of course resting, the damn thing is just going to run its course.
I’ve been feeling so miserable, my love went out and bought me potted red begonias. They worked to brighten up my day and sit on my desk.
