About Me
Both my parents were born in Poland, they fled to England in the hope of a better life and had 5 kids (obviously no hobbies). There is French on my Mother’s side and Spanish on my Father’s (he passed away 11th October, 2005…I miss him). I guess that makes me a bit of a mongrel ![]()
In 1971 at my Mother’s insistence we moved to Australia and my Father opted on settling in South Australia.
I have lived in Forestville, Western Australia, travelled to Sydney and Melbourne a few times, visited Fiji and stayed on some of the most delightful islands twice. My greatest wish is to see more of the world while my legs are still able to carry me.
I have a one eyed cat, an eclectic taste in decor, would spend a small fortune on antiques if I could afford to, love music; anything from alternative and rock, to tribal and celtic, love to read science fiction fantasy although I’ve had precious little time for that luxury, lease a 500 sqm facility, engage contract staff and work the longest hours, whoever said that working for yourself was great?! I’m always exhausted.
In my short life I have held down a number of different jobs but took the greatest leap of faith when I went to work for myself 15 years ago. It began with a small manufacturing facility producing food; a range of dips and then overtime expanded into sauces and dressings. There have been ups and downs but I’ve loved the ride. The business will be up for sale soon as another chapter in my life has opened.
That turned out to be skin and body care 8 years ago when my skin began reacting to the cocktail of chemicals I was subjecting my face to daily. The natural products I did try, didn’t do anything for my skin. Out of sheer frustration and desperation I began researching ingredients and formulations to understand the chemistry and nature of ingredients when mixed together and their impact when used on the skin alone or in conjunction with other materials.
After thousands of hours spent on formulating, screaming in frustration, hair-pulling and countless glutinous creams finding their way into the bin, I finally cracked it and perfected a self preserving formula, completely natural, completely balanced. Suitable for every skin type because this formulation debunks the skin type myth. This formulation will normalise any skin type condition you have. Am I excited? You bet!
I met the love of my life in June, 2005 over the net…never saw that coming, the only downside is that he is 10,500 miles away. He resides in the UK, go figure. We discovered something about ourselves….we were born 150 miles apart….I think this must be Kismet.
My life is evolving…into what you ask? Not sure yet. New doors are opening while others are closing. I only know one thing, the journey will be interesting and challenging.
